Social Housing for Homeless Youth | Co-Op
Los Angeles is home to an overwhelmingly large population of homeless minors in America. They are in need of a safer home, when their family's home is no longer available, Almost all homeless teenagers are highly victim to substance abuse survival sex, mental health disorders, and lack of education. Through Live, Launch, Work, this program would be able to offer youth services beyond housing that could help youth get back on their feet and become reacquainted with the city.

No longer will they have to see Los Angeles as a hearth of harm and danger, and can rewrite their narrative into living in a city that nurtures them and encourages them to explore their passions and goals. The co-op houses ages 12-15, who have been victim to homelessness. There is a low barrier housing model to allow for easy move-in and to help as many kids as possible. The project consists of three different types of units: a double, a full single, and a family unit, to accommodate all different situations.
