In the heart of Downtown Los Angeles sits LA's (Not-So-Secret) Secret Garden: a community center that serves as a zen haven amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday work life in the urban atmosphere. The Secret Garden is perched atop the Broadway Trade Center, where you can find a spa, library, greenhouse, and cafe. The buildings are weaved around three interconnected gardens: a tea garden, an herb garden, and a floral garden. The garden paths break into the architecture of the buildings, allowing a pacifist intrusion of the calming exterior to the indoors. The village-like buildings break the urban fabric of downtown, creating a truly unique experience that makes one forget where they are without completely excluding city views.
